Our Chocolate

Q. What are your specialty items?

A. We specialize in unique gifts with a different presentation. Some of our most popular products are our chocolate covered pretzels, popcorn, graham crackers, truffles, Oreos and of course our delicious chocolate covered strawberries.

Q. Are your chocolates Kosher?

A. Unfortunately not. We do not adhere to Kosher procedures during the manufacturing process.

Q. How long does your chocolate last?

A. When properly stored, solid milk chocolate will last approximately nine months and solid dark chocolate will last approximately one year. Filled chocolates, such as truffles and pralines, will last approximately two to four months.

Q. I have several allergies, can you tell me your allergy information?

A. All our chocolate products are made on equipment that is shared with nuts, so if you have a nut allergy of any kind you should play it safe and find a chocolate retailer that specializes in chocolate that is not shared with any allergens. In the meantime, you can always buy something for a friend without allergies and have them describe how good it tastes while they eat it in front of you.

Q. What kind of chocolate do you use for your products?

A. We use chocolate from reputable manufacturers that follow the entire manufacturing process from growing the chocolate beans (cacao) to delivery then the final product. We make sure our manufacturers uphold the highest standards that we adhere to when ultimately delivering the final product into our customer's hands.

Payment Processing

Q. What payment methods do you accept?

A. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Paypal for all online payments. We only accept Visa and Mastercard at our physical store.

Q. Do you store my credit card information on your servers?

A. No we do not. Your transaction is never stored on our system and your data is only used once to complete your payment. In addition, because you use Paypal to pay for your transaction we never recieve or see any of your payment information.

Q. Do I have to create a Paypal account to make a payment?

A. No you do not. We use Paypal as our credit card processor but you do not need a Paypal account to make payment. When it's time to checkout with your shopping cart just hit the Continue link if you do not want to use a Paypal account to make payment. In that case you use your credit card just like you would at any other merchant. We never see your credit card information and it is never stored on our servers.

Q. What is your refund policy?

A. We take great care in the entire manufacturing process of our chocolate looking to strike the perfect balance between taste and beauty. Through this painstaking process we are very confident that you to will fall in love with our delectable creations. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase please contact us immediately and we will make it right with a full refund of your purchase price.

Shipping and Delivery

Q. How do I specify that I want to pick up my order at your physical store?

A. When paying for your order and choosing your shipping method, click the drop down arrow and choose "pickup" instead of the "delivery' option so you can pick up your order at our store at no additional charge. If you want to specify the day you will pick up your order click the "add special instructions" button when checking out and let us know the day you will pick up your order so we can be expecting you.

Q. Why should I preorder online to pick up my order at your store?

A. For larger orders or gift items it will sometimes take us a few minutes to get your order ready so you end up waiting or having to return a few hours later which can be inconvenient for you. Another reason, on busy holiday weeks such as Valentine's Day; (our busiest day of the year) we always sell out of our chocolate covered strawberries and candy hearts by mid afternoon and if you preorder your Valentine's Day item you can make sure it is ready for you when you pick it up so you don't end up with a sad stuffed animal from the local pharmacy for your significant other.

Q. What shipping methods do you use when shipping my order?

A. Due to the perishable nature of our chocolates, we take special care to ensure the delivery of your chocolates in perfect condition. Each package comes surrounded by bubble wrap and our environmentally friendly packing peanuts. We pack each box with special insulation and gel ice as needed usually used in the warmer summer months.

Shipping rates and methods vary by time of year. From May 11 to September 21, we take extra precautions and ship via 2-Day Air or Next Day Air, as needed. We pack each box with special insulation and gel ice to ensure the safe arrival of your chocolates.

For shipments to warm weather destinations and during the Summer months, we ship orders on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday only to prevent chocolates from sitting on a delivery truck over a weekend and to ensure safe delivery. Most of the time we still try to ship Monay through Thursday to make sure that your order is not sitting on a truck over the weekend. We use UPS and the US Postal Service which do a great job with shipping our products.

Q. What if I love your stuff so much I want to send 2 gifts to 2 (or more) different people?

A. This is a pretty common occurence and unfortunatley at this time you have to place two separate orders. One for the first person that you are buying for and another order for the other person. This way you can specify 2 shipping addresses. Since we dont ask you for any painful user information or you have to fill out excessive forms its still very easy to do.

Q. How much does shipping cost?

A. Because our items are time sensitive we use the fastest method possible to get you your order. This can become costly and we do our best to obtain the best negotiated rates with our shippers. We currently charge a flat rate of $8.00 for shipping in NJ and $16.00 for overnight shipping in other locations in the U.S. The actual shipping charge typically exceeds these rates but we absorb the excess of the charge to offer you the most affordable shipping rate possible. Shpping will be calculated upon checkout and will vary depending on the time of the year.

Q. I saw an ad on your page that shows free shipping for orders over $50

A. From time to time we will run special shipping promotions and if a shipping promotion is applicable it will automatically be calculated in your shopping cart. So if you spend over $50 when you go to checkout there will be $0.00 due for shipping.

Q. Will I receive a tracking or confirmation email?

A. Yes, as soon as you finish placing your order you will receive and email confirming the details of your order. You should make sure everything is correct such as the item, shipping address and any applicable gift messages. You will then receive and additional email once your order ships with a tracking number for USPS or UPS.

Q. Do you currently ship orders in the USA?

A. Yes we only ship orders in the USA. We do not offer international shipping.

 

Miscellaneous

Q. Can you include a ribbon or a handwritten card with my item?

A. Yes. Just add special instructions to us when paying for your item. You can request a unique ribbon, gift wrapping and a hand written card of your choosing for no additional charge.
